After earning a nursing degree, your education as a nurse does not stop. Unfortunately, no. Recertification courses dealing with CPR, NRP, PALs and ACLs are not considered CE, and you cannot earn CEUs through them. They explain, stating: “Only continuing education (CE) courses taken during the 5-year period may be used for a recertification application.”
